The Holy Trinity
We believe in the Triune God: God is the creator of all things. He is in control of what happens with His creation (churchy word for this is sovereignty). He is eternal, meaning He has always existed and always will. (Revelation 4:11)
God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, three distinct persons in one God.
Jesus Christ
Jesus is the only Son of God. He came to earth in human form and died a sacrificial death for our sins. He then rose from the dead and now sits in Heaven with God the Father. He promised to return to earth and establish His kingdom here, and all who have a personal relationship with Him (or, as we call it, being “saved” or “born again”) will be part of that Kingdom. (Romans 10:13)
The Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is the presence of God here today as described in Acts chapter 2. The Holy Spirit helps us to become a more mature Christian when we let Him control every aspect of our lives. He provides us with power for transformation, helps us understand the ways of God; He gives us guidance to live right and courage to share God’s love with others. (John 16:13)
The Holy Bible
The Holy Spirit is the presence of God here today as described in Acts chapter 2. The Holy Spirit helps us to become a more mature Christian when we let Him control every aspect of our lives. He provides us with power for transformation, helps us understand the ways of God; He gives us guidance to live right and courage to share God’s love with others. (John 16:13)
Eternity
Eternal life is promised to all of us. God gave us a spirit and that spirit is going to live forever somewhere and there are only two options: Heaven or Hell. Eternity in Heaven is solely dependent on whether or not you have asked Jesus to accept the penalty for your sins. (John 6:40)
Salvation
Salvation is not the end of your Christian life but the beginning. People who are saved express their love for God by serving Him, telling others about Him and thanking Him for who He is and all that He has done.
Salvation comes only through the blood of Jesus Christ and His redemptive work on the cross; it is the only pathway to forgiveness of sins and eternal life. It’s a free gift received by grace and through faith in Our Lord. (Romans 10:9)
Baptism
Baptism is a practice in the Christian church that demonstrates an individual’s life has been transformed by salvation through Jesus Christ. It is not a substitution for salvation but a public recognition that salvation has transformed an individual. (Colossians 2:12)
Baptism of The Holy Spirit
The Baptism of the Holy Spirit is a noticeable indication of the Spirit’s work in a believer’s life, such as happened in the book of Acts Chapter 2. God gives Spiritual Gifts to His people for the enablement, edification and uplifting of the church. (Acts 1:8, 1 Corinthians 12)
